Google AI Summary Intercepts Your Clicks With Fraudulent Editorial Claims Of Your Work

Algorithmic Editorial Interception

When users search for your published research by name, Google’s AI Mode intercepts the query before they reach your site. Google generates an editorial summary of your work, with framing you did not authorize, and presents “authoritative” alternatives like Wikipedia. The user reads the summary. They don’t click. Your site logs an impression but no visit.

Imagine a general store in 1850. You stock the shelves with your goods. Customers ride in from miles around to buy them. But before they walk through the door, a GOOGLE LLC railroad representative steps out, tells them what he thinks about your goods, and redirects them to a merchant down the line who pays the railroad. You supplied the inventory. The railroad took the sale. They call it “service shows their “safety” badge to the store owner so they can’t call the sheriff.

The Evidence

After a six month study of an independent academic press, observed click-through rates deviated from industry baseline by more than three standard deviations. Statisticians use this threshold to define impossibility. A 99.7% deviation from expected performance, sustained across months and thousands of data points, does not occur naturally. Google AI is intercepting the clicks.

The Injury

Publishers pay in time, money, and novelty to create original content. Google takes that content, checks if it agrees with it or not, if it doesn’t like novelty, inconvenient truth, or simply wants to attack the author or publisher with libel, they smear it with unauthorized, false, untruthful and even illegal libel editorial framing, and gives the reader every reason not to click. AI summaries. “Authoritative” alternatives. Conversational answers. The publisher provides the substance. Google provides the opinion. The reader never reaches the source.

The Pattern

This is not suppression of discovery or novelty, or anything real. Your work appears. This is suppression of conversion and being the puppetmaster of truth and freedom to libel others. Google intercepts the final step, the click, and substitutes its own editorial product.

Indexed publishers provide the content. Google provides the “opinion.” The reader never reaches the source.

The Name

Algorithmic Editorial Interception.

Google built an editorial layer between index and access. They take your content, frame it how they choose, and redirect attention to sources they prefer. You get the impression. They get the influence.
